The Place

Our story.

We met the owner of this home years ago at a local mechanic shop — a passing conversation that stuck. Years later, when he decided to sell, he reached out to us.

Ben and I came to see the property, and we fell in love. We could see the vision immediately: what this home could become without losing what made it special in the first place.

So we renovated it to have every modern luxury, but we were careful not to make it feel brand new. We wanted to honor the roots of the home — the character that was already there — and just give it a little love. In the end, it was designed with one purpose in mind: to bring families together.

Outside

Twenty acres, and no reason to leave them.

Waterfall pool

Built for lingering.

A custom gunite pool with natural rock ledges and cascading waterfalls, spa attached at one end. Six feet at the deep end. Heating's available by the day in season, with 24 hours' notice.

Hot tub, year-round

Warm water, any season.

Ready whenever the mood strikes, all year long. Heating's a simple daily add-on — you only pay for the nights you actually want it hot.

Fire pit in the trees

Where the evening slows all the way down.

A custom pit tucked back in the woods, overlooking the pool. The outdoors come to life once the sun tucks below the pines.

Private stocked pond

Bring your pole, or use ours.

Yours for the stay, and yours alone — catch and release, no swimming, but the fishing's good enough to make it a favorite all on its own.

The old barn

The first thing you'll see, and the first sign you've made it.

A heritage barn still standing right at the turn onto the drive — the kind of welcome you don't get anywhere else.

Level 2 EV charger

Convenience where you least expect it.

A 50-amp charger, right at the cabin — because getting away shouldn't leave you stranded.

Inside

Three floors — space to gather, and space to spread out.

Walk-out level — movie and game night, built in

A 92-inch projector screen with streaming, a big sectional to sink into, an arcade basketball game, and a table set up for cards, puzzles, or whatever game night calls for. A private king suite and the full laundry live on this floor too. This is the gathering zone.

Main floor — kitchen and great room

An open kitchen running into the great room, centered around a gorgeous river-rock fireplace with a conversation seating area — a showpiece built for the view, with the real fires saved for the pit outside. A queen bedroom looks into the woods, a twin bedroom overlooks the pool, and a shared full bath rounds out the floor.

Upstairs — worth the climb

A king suite with a reading nook and an antique secretary desk, opening into a spa bath built for slowing down — a deep soaker tub under two skylights, windows overlooking the pool, a double vanity, and a custom walk-in shower. Light-filtering privacy shades keep the zen all day long.

The loft — for whoever falls asleep first

Across a catwalk from the primary, an open loft with a smart TV and a queen sleeper sofa. Good for the two who want their own space, better for whoever nods off mid-movie.

Sleeping Arrangements

Room for the whole family — and then some.

Eight guests in real beds, ten with the loft. No bunks anywhere — every bed here is a real one, sized for actual rest after a full day outside.

Bringing the little ones

A pack 'n play, booster seat, children's dinnerware, a baby monitor and outlet covers are all here already, so you can pack lighter.

On pool safety: the exterior doors on the pool side have alarms, and the pool gates are self-closing and self-latching. We've built in the safeguards — we just ask you bring the supervision.

Bringing the dog

Dogs are more than welcome — twenty fenceless acres and a pond practically guarantee a very good week if you're a dog.

Pet fee: $150 for the first dog, $50 for each one after that — just let us know on your inquiry so we can plan for it. We do ask that you clean up after Fido, keep pets off the furniture, and give muddy paws a wipe before coming inside.

From Our Guests

Three stays, in their words.

Pine & Pond is newly renovated and newly listed — here is every review so far, unedited.

“When we arrived, check-in was extremely easy and everything was exactly as advertised. So peaceful and secluded but it had everything we needed without having to travel far. The heated pool and spa was more than enough to add to our relaxation. We were even able to do a little fishing on the private pond. Movie nights were a blast with the projection TV.”

Jason · August 2026

“This place was even better than the photos showed. Stunning and very comfortable house. To be honest, the house, the pool, backyard and surroundings were even better than we expected. This is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful place. We were a group of 9 and everyone enjoyed in their own way of the pool, the nature, the house; swimming, resting, playing. Megan was an amazing host, she was always in contact with us, in case we needed something. We would definitely love to come back, and we could already imagine staying in this amazing cabin for Thanksgiving or Christmas!”

Katiuska · August 2026

“A spectacular house, super clean, and very cozy. We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time with our family and our 2 dogs. It has a very spacious kitchen and a beautiful pool where we relaxed a lot, and the location of the house is perfect for relaxing in nature. We will definitely return. Communication with Megan and Ben was excellent. Thank you for everything.”

A note on smoking

This is a smoke and vape-free property, indoors and out. If you do step away to smoke, please dispose of butts properly — keep the woods as beautiful as you found them.

Good to Know

The honest small print.

Getting here

A gravel drive up to the house. Fine in a normal car, but it is gravel and it does climb. We do our best to keep it clear through the odd winter snowstorm.

Cell service

Limited right as you get to the cabin. Wi-Fi calling works well once you arrive.

Well water

The house runs on a well, and it's safe to drink. There's filtered water in the fridge and a PUR pitcher in the kitchen if you'd rather.

Three levels

Stairs between all three floors. Worth knowing if someone in the group would rather avoid them.

Two full baths

One on the main floor, one upstairs in the primary suite. The king suite on the walk-out level doesn't have its own bath yet — that one's coming.

The fireplace

The river-rock fireplace is decorative. It's a real wood-burner but it is not for guest use.

No parties or events

This is a family home, not an event venue — please keep gatherings to the group booked and staying.

Cameras

Exterior cameras cover the driveway and entrances.
